project: abbey gardens

Kim and Andy needed a proposal that would fit their needs a family house with an open space and access to the garden through the front of the house. The design followed a contemporary approach and a creative approach to construction methods. The plot of land where it was proposed to be build had a series of restrictions. The build would be in a flood plain area so the foundations were Pile foundation allowing the design to adapt to a raised structure in order to overcome the flood hazard. We worked closely together with engineers and other professionals to ensure the structure would be compliant and future proof.
